AbilityNet offer a wide range of in-house training courses that we can customise to meet the needs of you and your team.
Workshops for developers and designers
These workshops cover in depth technical accessibility issues, ranging from coding with the web accessibility guidelines, using cascading style sheets (CSS) to enhance accessibility, accessible Flash, multimedia and PDF design.
Editors and content providers
We offer a course on how to maximise the accessibility of the content you create for the web. Practical examples of both good and bad practice are used throughout.
Web managers
Our courses for web managers and non-technical staff include a practical introduction to accessibility and an in-depth workshop on PAS 78 Guide to Good Practice in Commissioning Accessible Websites.
Accessible documents
Seminars on how to create accessible documents such as Word, PDF and PowerPoint explain the issues and include best practice solutions.
