The numbers of people we help
Using the internet to provide free and detailed information and training is the most economical way to help people, and more and more are using these services every year. In 2005, AbilityNet’s team of 59 staff supported over 490,000 people in total.
Not everyone uses the internet and many who ring are delighted to be able to find a real person at the other end of the phone! This advice and one-to-one in depth support is still essential for many people and in 2005 we helped almost 20,000 people this way.
